The Uwell Caliburn G2 Kit is the second of the Caliburn G series. The older Caliburn G was very similar in shape however, it had a smaller battery than the updated G 2 which offers you an extra 60mAh.
Its sleek appearance makes it perfect for vaping on the go but still houses a long-lasting 750mAh battery, giving you up to 18W, great for MTL vapers. The G 2 is ideal for beginners as it has a draw-activated system similarly to how you would use a traditional cigarette, however for more control, you can also use the fire button.
The Uwell Caliburn G pods allow for a mess-free top-filling system, allowing you to easily top up e-liquid which can be checked through the front-facing window. It uses Pro-Focs tech which restores e-liquid, giving you the best possible flavour out of your e-juice for longer.
Adjust the airflow via the wheel adjustment to give you an ideal vapour and throat hit that is tailored to your preference.
This kit gives feedback through vibration to notify you of a short circuit, low voltage, overdraws and more, keeping you in the loop with the device's status.
The Caliburn G 2 is compatible with Caliburn G coils and Caliburn G2 Coils which are fitted into the pod simply by pressure (no screwing required). There is a notch cut off the bottom of the coil so make sure you line that up with the recess in the pod for a secure and leak-free fit.

The Uwell Caliburn G 2 gives you the choice of both auto-draw and button firing. If you want an experience as close to a cigarette as possible, close off the airflow and use the auto-draw feature so just like a cigarette, you do not press any buttons to vape. For a slightly more custom feel, you can use the button to fire the device when vaping and the device will keep firing until you let go. Fast-press the button 5 times to turn the device on and off.
A selection of 2 coils are compatible with the Uwell Caliburn G 2. The 0.8ohm will give you a more powerful and flavoursome experience and is more for the slightly more experienced vaper. If you are coming fresh off of cigarettes, the 1.2ohm will be ideal as the hit and cloud production are slightly lower, making it easier to adjust to. Make sure you align the flat side of the coil with the notch in the pod as shown by the red arrow to ensure a leak-free, smooth and flavoursome experience.
A smart feature on the Caliburn G 2 is the haptic feedback. The device will vibrate if there is a problem either with, the coil not connecting properly, if you hold the button down for too long or if there is not enough power running to the coil. Please refer to the user manual which displays what each different vibration means.

Is the Uwell Caliburn G 2 any good?
We have tied and tested the Caliburn G 2 and the verdict is... this device is one of our favourites. A super-smart device concealed in such a small package. The haptic feedback is a neat feature you don't really see anywhere else. The coils are really good and there is an option for users who want lower power for high nicotine but also for those looking for a bit more but still want a small device. Flavour production is also very good and the fact that you can monitor your e-liquid level at all times is a big plus. You also get adjustability via the airflow-ring on the pod to further adjust your vaping experience.
Can you adjust the wattage on the Caliburn G 2?
The wattage on the G 2 is non-adjustable. It has a constant output of 18W when using the 0.8ohm coil and 15W when using the 1.2ohm coil. Adjustable wattage is unnecessary on an MTL pod kit like this as it adds more hassle and the adjustable airflow allows you to tailor your experience anyways. The hit will be increased the tighter the airflow is and vice versa.
How do you charge the Caliburn G 2?
The charging process couldn't be much more simple! You plug in the USB-C cable into the charging port at the bottom of the device and that's pretty much it. The LED light at the front will indicate the battery level. When the light stays green, your G 2 will be fully charged and ready to be unplugged. Try to avoid using a fast-charging plug as the battery may deplete or die if the current is too high.
